Same! I was so much against Aqours first but then I really started to like Hanamaru, I don´t even remember how that happened. Her voice is awesome, King does an amazing job with her!

Even with Hanamaru, I didn't really notice her at first. Then I heard her character introduction & she instantly went to to the top of my list. Voices seem to help me decide my favourite. (Like when I heard Hanayo talk for the first time she became my favourite and has stayed there ever since)

WAH?? Hanayo is also your µ´s favourite? I rather decide personality and voice-wise, the combination is important for me!

tbh I'm still having difficulty to guess who singing which part in Azalea, but I heard Hanamaru's voice and she sounds really good

I love her vocal..

hope the anime will reveal more of her..

In this video, King is dressed as Komasan from Yo-Kai Watch & he ends his sentences with "zura" just like Hanamaru. Destiny!

That's how King is so good at saying Zura XD
After watching the AZALEA drama CD, I love Hanamaru even more now! (But noone from any other sub unit will beat my guilty Kiss) She showed that she was worthy of being my No.4. Oh god she was so cute. But Dia is super funny so MaruDi- Nope, that's not gonna happen, I know, I know...

I'm more leaning towards MaruKanan xD Though I love DiaKanan too xD I don't ship in general, but I love the AZALEA girls together ♡

Hanamaru was the first one that stood out to me when the first image of Aqours was released. So far she is still one of my favorites along with Chika and Yohane. I like her expression in the PV when Chika was trying to scout her rofl.

hanamaru ftw! I really liked her before the anime and after watching the first episode today I have to say that she's still my favorite! Just way to less screentime ;w; I hope we see more of her cuteness in episode 2!

Hopefully in the episode where she joins she will get a bunch of screen time & hopefully that will happen pretty soon

At first when I saw hanamaru, I didn't expect her to be this amazing! after watching the azalea drama CD, I liked her way more. And now after the first episode, I have to say that she's my favourite after Guilty Kiss

This sounds weird but I do want to like her more. It kinda seems like im forcing myself to like guilty kiss... Ill make her my joint second favourite then... Is that enough Maru... :honoka3:

Maru's linked to both Ruby and Yohane. That's very nice, because I was worried she wasn't going to get much development by the anime writers outside "Ruby's best friend who lives in a temple and loves to read". Maybe we'll get her side of why Yohane acts like the way she does.

Hanamaru's voice is by far my favourite out of Aqours. It just sounds so soothing imo.

Maru is a super close 4th place in my current Aqours ranking. Maybe she will catch up with Riko someday - who knows.
At first she didn't seem interesting to me but holy shit her voice. HER VOICE. I love her voice so much, it's totally different from what you expect but shoot - I melt everytime in Mattete Ai no Uta.

Also, her appearance in the Anime. Gosh. How can you dislike her? Are there even people who don't like her?

i think she's tied with dia for 3rd for me, probably passes her by a little. i agree that her voice is really nice, and her "zura" thing makes my heart melt. shes too cute!!
